First Lady Sibel Tatar participates in an event organised by the Help Those With Cancer Association (Tulips) Expat Community arm
First Lady Sibel Tatar has attended an event organised by Help Those With Cancer Association (Tulips) Expat Community arm at the Alsancak National Park that was held to purchase beds in aid for cancer patients.
Making a statement during the visit, First Lady Sibel Tatar commended Tulips chairperson Raziye Kocaismail and the staff at Tulips, for the “fantastic support that has been given by the association and its expat community arm over many years to cancer patients and their families”.
Stating that “cancer is a common disease of humanity,” First Lady Sibel Tatar added that “we see it a duty to take part and support such organisations that raise funds for the treatment and care of cancer patients”.
Mrs Kocaismail thanked First Lady Sibel Tatar for visiting the organisation of Tulips, saying: “You have always over the years supported our association and taken part in many of our organisations. We thank you for your meaningful visit today that gives inspiration to our staff and morale to our patients.”
Bellapais Inner Wheel President Berin Avunduk stated that Bellapais Inner Wheel Club, of which First Lady Sibel Tatar is the founding president, donated 10,000TL to the charity event.
