Cyprus Turkish Entrepreneurial Women’s Association (GİKAD) chairperson İçim Kavuklu and members of the administrative board have accepted President Ersin Tatar and First Lady Sibel Tatar as the first Honorary Members of the association.

Visiting the President at the Presidency, Ms Kavuklu expressed their gratitude to Sibel Tatar who she said is a shining example of being a Turkish Cypriot women entrepreneur, and thanked her for the contributions and support to GİKAD.

Emphasising that the board and members of the Cyprus Turkish Entrepreneurial Women's Association consist of very valuable people who have proven their success in life, First Lady Sibel Tatar congratulated the association's management and members and expressed that she will be very happy to support this purpose of the association, which adopts the principle of opening the way by creating opportunities for entrepreneurial women.

 


THE IMPORTANCE OF ACHIEVING SUCCESS...

Drawing attention to the importance of women's solidarity and achieving success together, Sibel Tatar said that great accomplishments and service to society can only be achieved through this approach and understanding.

Opening the way for women to be able to succeed in society is a global problem, Mrs Tatar said.

“It is an important task for all non-governmental organisations and associations that work for the sake of public interest by resolutely preparing projects and initiatives, such work is an important social responsibility reflex,” Mrs Tatar said. “This is an important service for the social and economic development of the Turkish Cypriot people”.


 

SİBEL TATAR WILL BE A SERIOUS ASSET TO GİKAD”

In return, GİKAD chairperson İçim Kavuklu underlined that the honorary membership and support of First Lady Sibel Tatar “will be a serious asset to GİKAD”.

“Mrs Sibel Tatar is a shining example of how a Turkish Cypriot woman can be successful,” Mrs Kavuklu said. “We greatly welcome Sibel Tatar as the first Honorary Member of GİKAD,” she added.

Emphasising that with her high energy  Sibel Tatar has achieved many important successes in projects with social responsibility, İçim Kavuklu stated that the value and dignity Sibel Tatar added to business life is known to everyone and expressed that they benefit from her experiences.
