Private Secretary to the President Dr. Çağın Zort
Çağın Zort, who was born on November 20, 1984, completed his education in Inönü Primary School, then Bayraktar Secondary School and 20 Temmuz Science High School
In 2005, he graduated from the Near East University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. He completed his master's degree in the Department of Turkish Language in 2008 and worked as Assistant, Research Assistant and Academic.
Between 2016 and 2020, he also worked in Disaster and Emergency Management Committee in the TRNC Prime Ministry, in the Committee on Probation, in Evaluation Committee on Health Board, in Coordination Commission for Persons with Disabilities and in Prison Advisory Committee.
Çağın Zort, who is continuing his PHD, has participated in many national and international congresses and symposiums and presented report on Turkish Literature, Turkish Cypriot Literature, Turkish language and gave various lectures in many schools.
Member of various associations and institutions such as Turkish Cypriot Literature and Littérateurs Association (KITED), İnönü Cooperative Credit Company, Contemporary Music Association and Mağusa Mesarya Lions Club, Famagusta Cultural Association, KIBATEK, the Cyprus Turkish Writers Union, Çağın Zort has many publications and received many awards such as “Best Academician of the Year”Award in Cypaparazzi Awards (İstanbul Beşiktaş, 2016); Best Communication of the Year" Award in ENMODA International Award Ceremony (2017); “Best Corporate Communication “Award in ENMODA International Award Ceremony (2018).
He is fluent in English and continues his academic studies. Çağın Zort has been appointed as Private Secretary to the President since 25 December 2020.
