President Ersin Tatar and First Lady Sibel Tatar commemorate Senior Citizens week
President Ersin Tatar and First Lady Sibel Tatar visited the old people’s homes in Lapta and Kalkanlı, as part of commemorations marking Senior Citizens week.
The Tatars met with the senior citizens as well as doctors, nurses and other staff at the two centres. Speaking during the visits, President Tatar said he was pleased to see that the “best possible care” is being provided by the staff in meeting the demands and caring for the senior citizens.
The visits were staged in accordance with Covid-19 measures. Tatars were accompanied during the visit to the Lapta care home by Minister of Labour and Social Security, Koral Çağman.
Güzelyurt mayor, Mahmut Özçınar and Güzelyurt District Officer, Savaş Orakçıoğlu, accompanied the Tatars during their visit to the Care Home in Kalkanlı.
