President Ersin Tatar attended the ceremony held at the mausoleum of Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the proclamation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
The ceremony, which started with the laying of a wreath in front of the monument by President Tatar, continued with the observation of a minute's silence, followed by the playing of the National Anthem and the hoisting of the flags.
The ceremony ended with President Tatar signing the memorial special book.
