President Ersin Tatar, attending the 27th Traditional Alevkayası Yayla Festival, stated that people who settled in our country from Karadeniz after 1974 have contributed to the development of the country and emphasised the importance of developing relations and blending cultures in the age of communication.
President Tatar thanked all the members for their services to the Karadeniz Cultural Association and expressed his appreciation for all the efforts spent in strengthening the TRNC.
Noting that by the airport that will be opened on November 15, Republic Day with the participation of President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President Tatar stated that wide-body aircraft will also be present and wished for the flights to Trabzon to become permanent. The President pointed out that with the permanent fights, relations as part of tourism, business and higher education will be further strengthened.
President Tatar underlined the love of Homeland, nation, flag and Türkiye and he said that during his visit to New York next week, he will emphasize sovereign equality and acceptance of our equal international status.
President Tatar continued as follows:
“We are looking ahead. It should be the wish of all of us to ensure a strong TRNC, in cooperation with the prosperous and developed Republic of Türkiye in all kinds of cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean, and provide better services to the people. In order to achieve all these, our culture, customs and traditions, our love for the flag and our commitment to Anatolia are the conditions for us to look to the future with hope. I would like to thank everyone who work for this cause and provide our unity and solidarity. I send my love from the TRNC to all our brothers and sisters watching us today here and in Karadeniz.”
