President Ersin Tatar attends the year-end reception organised by the UN
President Ersin Tatar and his spouse Sibel Tatar attended the year-end reception organised by the United Nations at the Ledra Palace Hotel in the buffer zone.

President Ersin Tatar and the Greek Cypriot Administration Leader Nikos Christodoulides came together with their spouses at the reception hosted by the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Cyprus and Head of the UN Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) Colin Stewart.
The reception was also attended by the second President Mehmet Ali Talat, President Tatar's Special Representative Güneş Onar and the Greek Cypriot side's negotiator Menelaos Menelaou and the members of the negotiating delegation accompanying them, technical committee co-chairs, as well as diplomats, UN officials and representatives of some non-governmental organisations from both sides of the island.
In his speech at the reception, Colin Stewart thanked the two Leaders who attended the reception.
Colin Stewart also thanked the coordinators and co-chairs of the technical committees from both sides, as well as President Tatar's former Special Representative Ergün Olgun and the Greek Cypriot side's negotiator Menelaos Menelaou, for their commitment to efforts in regard to finding common ground over the past year.
