President Ersin Tatar attends "Women Entrepreneurs who Create Value" summit

President Ersin Tatar has commended Turkish Cypriot female entrepreneurs for their successes and has pledged to continue supporting them across various platforms.
The President made the statement at the “Women Entrepreneurs who Create Value” summit, which was held at the Bandabulya (Municipal market) in Girne, that was held under the “My Sister Project”. The event was held with the cooperation of the Municipality of Girne and Cyprus Turkish Entrepreneurs Women’s Association (GİKAD),
In his speech at the event, President Tatar congratulated the chairman and members of GİKAD for the projects -- carried out to encourage Turkish Cypriot women towards production and developing their entrepreneural skills. The President extended his gratitude to everybody who part,c,pated in this fantastic event and for “taking steps to include women in business life in the TRNC”.
The President reffered to the importance of women's struggle throughout history and paid tribute to the Süheyla Küçük – the late wife of former Turkish Cypriot leader Dr. Fazıl Küçük, who had many attributes and who had devoted her life and set a prime example of how women can contribute to society.
President Tatar stated: “We are attributing different forms of support to successul Turkish Cypriot female entrepreneurs across various platforms, with the objective that we can see many more success stories of our women in the business sector through different pioneering and innovative projects.”
The President wishes the summit success and said he hopes it yields beneficial results for our country.
