President Ersin Tatar departs for Ankara

President Ersin Tatar has departed for Ankara, Türkiye, where he will hold contacts with officials as well as take part in different events.
The President will also receive an honorary doctorate at a ceremony to be hosted by the OSTİM Technical University, where he will also give a conference there in relation to the Cyprus issue.
Alongside his meeting with various civil organisations, President Tatar will also participate in a special NTV broadcast where he will discuss the latest developments in relation to the Cyprus issue as well as regional issues and the Turkish Cypriot position for a settlement in Cyprus that is based on the sovereign equality and equal international status of the two Sides.
President Tatar will also attend the wedding ceremony of the son of Fuat Oktay, Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye, and will return to the TRNC on Tuesday, September 6.
