President Ersin Tatar has met with Samira Sinjab and Marten Anders – who have authored a book titled “North Cyprus Conversations, A Country and its Faces”.

The 367-page colour book features an interview with President Tatar and different faces of the TRNC and offers the reader information on a range of topics about the country, ranging from its history, places of interest, culture and traditions, to politics, the Cyprus issue, residency and investment opportunities.

The President was presented a copy of the book during the visit by Mrs. Sinjab and Mr. Anders – both experts and connoisseurs of the TRNC, and he paid tribute to the authors and everybody who contributed to the book.

“I am delighted to have received a copy of the book that you have penned with so much love and passion for our beautiful country,” President Tatar said. “The book includes interviews with numerous colourful characters and successful people in our country, and offers information about the different aspects of the culture and  traditions of the Turkish Cypriot People and facts about the TRNC as well as showcasing photographs of many iconic landmarks and beautiful places of interest of our country,” President Tatar said.

Stating that the book also details the “opportunities” that exist in the TRNC for investors and provides information about "what our country has to offer as well as the lifestyle, festivals and different events held in different parts of the country", President Tatar said that the book has "attracted praise internationally” and “has made its way to being a sought after book on internet web sites such as Amazon”.

Authors Samira Sinjab and Marten Anders thanked President Tatar for the meeting, and stated that the book, that has been prepared in English and German,  “features different aspects of the country and promotes the TRNC internationally, whilst conveying to the reader the yet undiscovered riches of the Island”.
