The message of President Ersin Tatar is as follows:
“I wish great success to all our students during the 2022-2023 Academic Year, which started today with the opening of primary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education.
Dear students;
Considering the fact that education and training is a life-long process, the new academic year that started today will be one of the significant stops of this lifelong journey.
I sincerely believe that each of you will work hard with love to their homeland and nation and with good character and responsibility. I am certain that our esteemed teachers and parents will spend great effort together with our esteemed students.
The excitement, hope and love for the country seen in the eyes of our students, dear families and teachers is pleasing and raises my hopes for the future.
Our education system, in accordance with the principles of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, aims to share ideas and feelings among the citizens, adheres to the principles of contemporary values, democracy, social justice and the rule of law; working out as a guide to raise citizens who protect and develop these principles. I fully believe that you, our esteemed students, who are the guarantee of the TRNC, will grow up as useful, virtuous and responsible individuals within this education system.
I am sending all my love to the students, who are the future of our country and thanking all the parents and teachers who prepare our children for the future with great devotion.”
