President Ersin Tatar participates in the Demobilisation Ceremony for staff who served at the Civil Defence Organisation Gazimağusa Regional Directorate

  President Ersin Tatar has participated in the Demobilisation Ceremony for staff who served at the Civil Defence Organisation Gazimağusa Regional Directorate,  where he presented plaques to the outgoing service personnel.




Addressing the ceremony that was held at the Rauf Raif Denktaş Cultural and congress Centre in Gazimağusa, the President stressed that “this is by no means a farewell ceremony,” adding: “I pay tribute to you all for the long years of service to your country. I know that if the need arises, you are all on standby and ready to serve and defend your homeland without hesitation.”

President Ersin Tatar stated that the Civil Defence Organisation Directorate “has developed over the years with its disciplined staff and is well-equipped to take part, when the need arises, in the defence of the country and to assist our citizens and save lives in the face of all kinds of natural disasters.  You have developed a structure that inspires confidence in the public.  I wish to express my appreciation and thank you for your services”.

President Ersin Tatar thanked the Head of the Civil Defence Organisation, Atilla Karaca and the staff of the Civil Defence Organisation, and presented them plaques in appreciation of their services.
