President Ersin Tatar attended the opening ceremony of the 46th Güzelyurt Orange Festival organized by Güzelyurt Municipality.
In his speech at the event, President Ersin Tatar touched upon the problems experienced in citrus fruit this year and expressed his belief that the problems will be dealt in the coming period with the measures taken and the work carried out.
Stating that citrus fruits and other products are produced in Güzelyurt, President Tatar pointed out the importance of the water coming from Türkiye as well as carrying out studies on species alterations with the developments in the world.
President Tatar pointed out that with the trading of different products to the world markets and the increase in the work of agricultural engineers, the TRNC will move forward confidently to better days.
Emphasising that Güzelyurt is our valuable and beautiful land, the President congratulated those who contributed to the organisation of the festival.
