President Ersin Tatar presented book documenting the “Debates on Cyprus” in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, authored by Kayhan Karaca and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çağlar

President Ersin Tatar has been presented a book documenting the “Debates on Cyprus” at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which has been penned by Kayhan Karaca and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çağlar.
The Turkish language book, titled “CYPRUS: The Family Fight of Europe”, was presented to President Tatar at his working office at the Presidency by Mr. Karaca and Dr. Çağlar on Tuesday.
President Tatar commended Mr. Karaca and Dr. Çağlar “for penning such an important book that documents the debates held with regards to the island of Cyprus and the Cyprus issue at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe”.
He said “this well researched book features documents, statements, material and information, collated together following archive research, with regards to Turkish Cypriot representation at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the political history of Cyprus”.
President Tatar expressed his gratitude to Mr. Karaca and Dr. Çağlar for the book which will also be archived at the Presidential library and wished them future success.
The meeting was also attended by Undersecretary Okan Donangil and Presidential Press Bureau Officer Çağıl Günalp.
