President Ersin Tatar to visit Türkiye following the invitation by Republic of Türkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
Following the invitation of the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President Ersin Tatar will be departing from Ercan Airport tonight at 8.50pm for Ankara.
President Tatar, who will visit the Ankara Chamber of Commerce tomorrow morning, will also meet with press organisations, where he will talk about his new vision for sustainable peace and stability in Cyprus and the eastern Mediterranean, the Cyprus issue, and how the two Sides can cooperate across different fields.
President Tatar will also attend the opening ceremony of the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games tomorrow at 8pm and will meet with different press agencies who are covering the event. The President will explain the negative effects of the inhumane sports embargoes that continues to be imposed on Turkish Cypriots.
President Tatar will hold bilateral meetings and contacts in Konya on Wednesday and will participate in a conference at the Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University, titled "The Struggle for the Existence of Turkish Cypriots on the Island". The President, who will be awarded an Honorary Doctorate at the Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University, will also meet with Cyprus Veterans from Karaman, before returning to the TRNC from Adana Airport.
The President is expected to arrive back into Ercan airport on Wednesday at 10.20pm.
