President Ersin Tatar, together with his wife Sibel Tatar, received greetings at the Presidency on the occasion of the first day of Eid al-Adha.
In his statement to the press at the reception, President Tatar celebrated the holiday of all our people, Motherland Türkiye and the entire Islamic world. He expressed his belief that we will overcome the troubled days in unity and solidarity, as in the years of the national struggle, with the sacrifices and efforts of our state and our people.
“We have always trusted our people and our Motherland. This is how our independence and freedom have been gained,” the President added. He pointed out the importance of trusting the state and protecting it in unity and solidarity with all counterparts and public groups with the support of the Republic of Türkiye.
President Tatar, who wished that resentment and hard feelings would be left behind in accordance with our religion on the day of the feast, he expressed the necessity of overcoming the difficulties with the confidence to look to the future with hope.
President Tatar said "I congratulate the holiday of our police, farmers, civil servants, people working in livestock and all employees who contribute to our economy, as well as members of the press and all our people."
President Tatar, thanking the health workers who worked to protect our health with great devotion during the pandemic period, invited our people to be cautious and be careful to the use of masks in closed environments against the Covid-19 epidemic, which has seen an increase in the number of cases. President Tatar, who also called to be careful in traffic during the holiday, wished not to experience any traffic accident during the Eid-al-Adha.
High-level political officials, military officers, ministers, deputies and citizens attended the greeting.
