President Ersin Tatar: “TRNC is part of the Turkish world in the Mediterranean”
President Ersin Tatar, who is in New York for the Session of the 77th UN General Assembly, will not be able to attend the opening ceremony of the Turkish World Joint Alphabet Workshop as well as the award ceremony to be held in Bursa on September 26 to commemorate the establishment of the Turkish Language Association and the 90th anniversary of the Language Day, organised in cooperation with the Organization of the Turkish States and the Turkish Language Association.
In his message, President Ersin Tatar expressed his regret that he could not attend the award ceremony and workshop as a result of his New York visit. President Tatar emphasised that the events to be held in Bursa are very significant for the Turkish world and that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is part of the Turkish world in the Mediterranean.
Expressing that the Turkish Cypriot people are always together with the Turkish world, President Tatar wished the events to be held in Bursa to be beneficial and successful.
President Tatar congratulated Mr. İsmail Bozkurt, who is awarded on the behalf of the TRNC, pointing to the importance of the TRNC to come to the fore also in the field of culture, arts and literature as well as all other areas.
Consul General of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Seniha Birand Çınar, will represent President Tatar at the events to be held in Bursa.
