President Ersin Tatar’s Holy Ramadan message
On this holy month of Ramadan, I wish the Turkish Cypriot people, the Turkish nation and the whole Islamic world peace and prosperity. Ramadan is the time when the doors of solidarity, unity, beauty and peace open. I believe that the Covid-19 pandemic, which has affected the entire world, will come to an end and that healthy and brighter days will come. Whilst underlining the importance of following the measures and hygiene rules to combat the Covid-19 pandemic, I wish for peace and prosperity, blessings and joy to prevail from sunrise (sahur) to iftar (fast breaking) times. May the holy month of Ramadan bring peace and prosperity for all humanity.
