President Tatar commemorates Özker Özgür and Salih Miroğlu
The late General Secretary of the National Unity Party (UBP) Salih Miroğlu and the late leader of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) Özker Özgür were remembered on the 15th anniversary of their deaths.
President Ersin Tatar, who attended the commemoration ceremonies, said the following:
“Our message to the world is that the Turkish Cypriot people are in unity. Our hearts are full of love for our homeland and we are devoted to this. The two politicians might have had different opinions. However, both of them had the same goal to serve their people and to enable their people to live in freedom, prosperity and happiness. "
President Tatar stated that they continue to commemorate Özker Özgür and Salih Miroğlu with mercy and conveyed his condolences to their families and all those who love them.
