President Ersin Tatar departed for Ankara last night and will be participating in the oath taking ceremony of President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The President is being accompanied by First Lady Sibel Tatar.
President Ersin Tatar has been welcomed by Ankara Deputy Governor Namık Kemal before the swearing-in ceremony of President Erdoğan.
Also attending the ceremony in Ankara from the TRNC is Parliamentary Speaker Zorlu Töre, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and Third President Derviş Eroğlu, following the invitation by President Erdoğan.
The ceremony in Ankara will be held at the Presidential Complex Exhibition Hall followed by a dinner at the Çankaya Mansion.
