President Tatar meets with a group of business people, tradesmen and citizens in Girne
Speaking during his meeting with the business people, President Ersin Tatar stated that work is continuing with full speed, without break, to keep the economy afloat despite the pandemic.

Indicating that a two State solution based on sovereign equality is now advocated at the table, President Tatar said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan came to the island with a crowded delegation on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the proclamation of the TRNC on November 15, adding that Motherland Turkey supported this policy fully.
Emphasizing that with the two State policy and the opening of Maraş, the foundations of the TRNC State was strengthened. The President underlined that the reality of the TRNC was being explained to the world.
President Tatar pointed out that the development of the TRNC economy would continue with the full support of motherland Turkey.
Underlining the importance of our strong support and common will to the national cause that has been going on for centuries, President Ersin Tatar said that the TRNC is getting stronger due to her strategic position in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The President emphasized that the interest of Turkey and the Turkish Cypriots are based on the two-state solution now and pointed out that it is necessary to embrace the national cause.
