President Tatar receives ITU TRNC rector and his accompanying delegation
President Ersin Tatar met with ITU TRNC Rector and Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Cumali Kınacı and his accompanying delegation.
As was also expressed by President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his visit to the island marking the 37th anniversary of the TRNC's establishment, President Tatar said they advocate a two-state solution model with a new understanding in order to carry the TRNC to a new future.
Referring to the importance of providing services and making investments to our country as an education and tourism island, President Tatar emphasized the importance of having educational projects in the TRNC by the ITU as a very significant university. He further added that this is an important support for the TRNC.
ITU TRNC Rector briefed President Tatar regarding the university and educational projects and wished the President success in his new duty.
