TRNC Presidency launches ‘Welcome Baby Memorial Forest’ project
First Lady Sibel Tatar visited the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital today where she launched the "TRNC Presidency Welcome Baby Memorial Forest" project.
Organised by the Presidency Social Support Committee under the scope of the ‘TRNC Presidency Welcome Baby Memorial Forest’ project, Mrs Tatar handed a Welcome Baby Memory Forest certificate and ‘Welcome Baby Package’ for five babies born today. For each baby born as from today, a sapling planting project will be initiated.
Expressing her sorrow for the trees we lost due to fires, Mrs Tatar stated that they aim to contribute to the greening of our country by planting a sapling in the name of each newborn baby.
