PREPARATION MEETING PRIOR TO FIVE-PLUS-UN INFORMAL MEETING
President Ersin Tatar has hosted the first meeting of former negotiators, lawyers and experts who participated in previous negotiations, as part of preparatory work for the five-plus-UN informal meeting.
The latest developments and the position of the Turkish side for a settlement based on sovereign equality and two States that enjoy the same international status, which co-exist side-by-side, in a relationship of cooperation was discussed.
Also attending the meeting alongside the Presidential negotiating team, were former negotiating team members Chief Justice Taner Erginel, former Attorney-General Zaim Necatigil, former negotiator Advisory Board members Prof. Dr. Ata Atun ve Prof. Dr. Murat Tüzünkan.
