President Ersin Tatar extends condolence message to Pakistan following a train crash that has caused dozens of fatalities and injury

  “Our thoughts and prayers are with our Pakistani brothers and sisters.   Our hope is that there is no further loss of life and that those injured recover as soon as possible…”





 

President Ersin Tatar has sent a condolence message to the President of Pakistan,  Arif Alvi, and to the People of Pakistan following a tragic train crash near the city of Nawabshah,  that has resulted in dozens of fatalities and injury.



The message reads as follows:


“I have learned with great sadness of the train crash that has caused the loss of lives of at least 30 people and injured more than 90 people near the city of Nawabshah, Pakistan, a brotherly country with whom we are together in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the People of Pakistan during this difficult time. May there be no further loss of life, and a speedy recovery to those who were injured in the crash.

I convey my most sincere condolences in the name of my People to the People of Pakistan, to our brothers and sisters. May those who have passed rest in eternal peace and may their families and loved ones have the strength and patience to cope with their losses.”
