President Tatar is following the issue
President Ersin Tatar has held a telephone contact with Asya Karaali who was injured following an attack in the Greek Cypriot Side.
The President, who condemned the attack, said he was sorry to have learned of the grave incident, and conveyed to her his best wishes and a speedy recovery.
Stating that such incidents “harms the atmosphere of peace on the island,” the President said what happened “is utterly unacceptable,” and added that he has issued a directive to the Turkish Cypriot co-chair of the Technical Committee on Crime and Criminal Matters, to follow the heinous attack on Asya Karaali on all aspects. The President added that he is himself following the matter closely.
