President Ersin Tatar inaugurated the 3rd Solo Exhibition of ceramic artist Semral Öztal

President Ersin Tatar inaugurated the 3rd Solo Exhibition of ceramic artist Semral Öztal which was held at the Atatürk Cultural Centre.
 
Expressing his pleasure to be participating in the opening of such a valuable exhibition, President Tatar stated that Semral Öztal has struggled a lot throughout her life, adding that “she is an artist who creates exemplary work of art  through the influence of different cultures in various regions of our country”.

President Tatar commended the work of Mrs Öztal, adding: “We give great value to our artists, writers and musicians, who proven themselves through their exemplary successes across different branches. You are a priceless asset in our society.”
 
President Tatar thanked Semral Öztal, her family and supporters, for the “creation of such a beautiful exhibition” and added that “we will always support our artists, which reflects our very existence as Turkish Cypriots in these lands”.
 
The President also said that it is important for Turkish Cypriot people to “continue and preserve our culture and traditions and to pass them down to future generations in a meaningful way. The State has a responsibility to support these activities”.
 
Addressing the inaugeration event, Semral Öztal said that she has prepared an exhibition of memories of her childhood experiences that left a mark on her and expressed her gratitude to President Ersin Tatar for his visit to the exhibition.
