President Ersin Tatar meets with Ambassador of Norway Lajla Brandt Jakhelln

President Ersin Tatar today held a meeting at the Presidency with the Ambassador of Norway, Lajla Brandt Jakhelln.
President Tatar put forward the policy for a settlement that is based on the sovereign equality and equal international status of the two existing States in Cyprus.
President Tatar also touched on the unjust isolation of the Turkish Cypriot People, and the Greek Cypriot rejections of equality-based plans and ideas for more than half a century.
Also attending the meeting were M. Ergün Olgun, Special Representative of the President, Confidence Building Measures and Bilateral Technical Committees Coordinator Güneş Onar, Legal Affairs Advisor Sülen Karabacak and Special Adviser for International Relations and Diplomacy Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Işıksal.
