President Ersin Tatar meets with business people in Denizli

President Ersin Tatar met with business people in Denizli today. Cyprus veterans also attended the meeting held with the Denizli business world, hosted by Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Eurasia Executive Industrialists’ and Businessmen Association (AYSİAD) and EkoEurasia Foundation.

In the speeches made, President Tatar was thanked for his visit to Denizli, and solidarity and support for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was expressed.

In his speech, President Ersin Tatar expressed his satisfaction in being in Denizli, where he was given the Honorary Citizenship Certificate, and said that as a Turkish state in the Blue Homeland, we have always been an inseparable part of the Turkish nation.

Describing the pain and attacks suffered by the Turkish Cypriot people on the eve of the bloody Christmas, President Tatar emphasized that a new era began in Cyprus after 1974 and that the Turkish Cypriot people gained independence, sovereignty and State thanks to the Republic of Türkiye.

Noting that they are now a State, taking confident and strong steps towards the future together with the Republic of Türkiye, President Tatar added that the TRNC will always build its future together with the Republic of Türkiye.

President Tatar explained that the Turkish Cypriot people's heart has always been with Türkiye, following the footsteps of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and noted that now they are further strengthening their ties to carry the State to the future in trust and peace.

Mentioning that no one can break these ties, President Tatar stated that we will not embark on any adventure that will separate the Turkish Cypriot people from Türkiye, and that we will not approve such a process.

​ President Tatar stated that a solution can be found in Cyprus based on the cooperation of the two states and that a two-state solution can be achieved.

"We will no longer sit at the negotiation table until our sovereignty is accepted and our State is accepted, and we will not approve a process that will lead to an adventure," said President Tatar and he noted that they are carrying out the process in full harmony with the Republic of Türkiye.

President Tatar talked about the emotional moments he experienced at the martyr's funeral he attended today, expressed his condolences to the family, and he said "We neither forget our martyrs nor let them be forgotten."
