President Ersin Tatar meets with the members of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation: “The Turkish Armed Forces has a strong defence mechanism against all kinds of attacks”
President Ersin Tatar received a delegation from the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation.
In his speech during the meeting, President Tatar stated that he participates in various activities of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation from time to time and he commended the work of the Turkish security forces to continously strengthen and improve its defence industry in the best possible way.
Stating that the Turkish Security Forces have the power to protect national interests, which was appreciated internationally, the President added that the foundation always lended support to the Turkish Cypriots and their struggle to co-exist as equals in Cyprus against the Greek and Greek Cypriot duo.
Reiterating that the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation protects the rights of the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the eastern Mediterranean, the President added: "The Republic of Turkey is the most powerful country in the region and has a strong defence mechanism against all kinds of threats from the air, land and sea. The TRNC is also ready to do its utmost in this regard."
President Tatar wished the members of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation success in their future work.
