President Ersin Tatar participated in an event celebrating the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Türkiye’s İşbank (Türkiye İş Bankası).
The bank was established in 1924 at the initiative of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Türkiye.
President Tatar participated in the event that was held at the shipyard in İstanbul on Monday, marking the centenary of the establishment of the bank, where a digitalised stream showing images of the history of the bank and its successes were shown. The President also watched the “100th Anniversary Concert” by different artists, as drones depicted Atatürk in the sky, in conjunction with visuals of the map of Türkiye and images of İşbank.
