President Ersin Tatar receives Mustafa Davulcu, newly appointed Consul General to İzmir
President Ersin Tatar received Mustafa Davulcu, who has been appointed as the new Consul General of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Izmir, and extended his best wishes for success in his new assignment.
During the meeting, President Tatar underscored İzmir’s strategic importance as a major city and highlighted the significant number of Turkish Cypriot students currently pursuing their education there. He emphasised the valuable role of the Consulate General in supporting citizens abroad and once again wished Davulcu success in his new role.
In his remarks, Mustafa Davulcu expressed his appreciation for the President’s support and stated that he would dedicate his experience and knowledge to improving the lives of Turkish Cypriot citizens living in İzmir. He also emphasised his commitment to further enhancing relations with the Republic of Türkiye, noting that President Tatar’s guidance and insights would be instrumental in shaping the consulate’s future initiatives.
