President Ersin Tatar receives the rector of Ankara University and his accompanying delegation

President Ersin Tatar received Ankara University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar and his accompanying delegation.

In his speech at the reception, President Ersin Tatar drew attention to the importance of Ankara University providing training to diplomats at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the signing of a protocol on the fight against addiction at the Prime Ministry Anti-Drug Commission.

President Tatar stated that the interest and closeness shown is very important and emphasised that it is a great value for Ankara University to share knowledge and experience in all branches with institutions in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

President Tatar pointed out that despite the measures taken, the increase in drug use was reported in the reports, and stated that studies were carried out on the fight against drugs, but the desired result could not be achieved.

President Tatar thanked all those who served, especially the rector of Ankara University.

In his speech, Rector of Ankara University, Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar, stated that he was happy to share the knowledge of the university with the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and noted that important steps will be taken for the fight against drugs and the training of diplomats.
