President Ersin Tatar responds to the unfounded claims by the Israeli Prime Ministry
"The TRNC will never allow terrorist acts on its territory"
President Ersin Tatar has responded to the unfounded claims made by the Prime Ministry of Israel on its social media account, that Mossad thwarted attacks on Israeli and Jewish targets in the TRNC.
President Tatar stated that “this claim is completely unfounded and what has been alleged has not occurred,” and added: “The TRNC will never allow terrorism acts on its territory.”
President Tatar stated that all necessary precautions are always taken at sea ports, crossings points, and the airport of the TRNC, to prevent such incidents from occurring.
The President stated that in fact two arrests have been made in Southern Cyprus, that the incidents are closely monitored, and the process is being followed with sensitivity. He said that the allegations made by the Prime Ministry of Israel are unfounded and no such incident occurred in the TRNC.
