President Ersin Tatar to participate in republic day celebrations in London
President Ersin Tatar will attend the 15 November Republic Day celebrations in London.
President Tatar departed from Ercan Airport and is en route to the UK. The President will participate in the reception being organised by the TRNC Representative to London, marking the 40th anniversary of the proclamation of the TRNC. The reception will be held at Hyatt Regency London - Churchill Hotel, on Thursday evening.
President Tatar will also attend the 40th anniversary ball organised by the Council of Turkish Cypriot Associations (UK).
President Tatar will also hold contacts in Parliament.
In his statement to TAK about his visit to London, President Ersin Tatar stated that he "attaches great importance to being with TRNC citizens in the UK," and said that he will "visit London to participate in the 40th anniversary celebrations of the TRNC".
