President Ersin Tatar has paid a visit to the Digital Transformation and Electronic Government Agency where he was briefed about the workings of the institution by its president, M. Mesut Ener.
President Tatar, who was accompanied by Undersecretary Okan Donangil and Presidential Advisor Mesut Genç, inspected the newly installed IT systems, and received information about the objectives and operations of the agency.
Stating that the “ongoing work at the institution will be speeded up thanks to the established infrastructure”, President Tatar said: “We are living in the digital age, and digital transformation is significantly important for our country, because it will enable a more efficient and productive running of governmental departments. The agency aims to make it easier for all people and residents in providing electronic services, that will provide efficiency and convenience for people. I wish to reiterate my gratitude to Motherland Türkiye. We have benefited immensely from their support and experiences in this field, the establishment of this institution, which is very important for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.”
M. Mesut Ener, President of the Digital Transformation and Electronic Government Agency, thanked President Tatar and his delegation for the visit and briefed the President about the workings of the institution.
