President Ersin Tatar visits the DNA Laboratory of the Presidential Committee on Missing Persons Turkish Cypriot Member Office

President Ersin Tatar visited the DNA Laboratory of the Presidential Committee on Missing Persons (CMP), Turkish Cypriot Member Office in Lefkoşa, and met with the chairman Hakkı Müftüzade and the laboratory director, Assoc. Dr. Cemal Gürkan.

During the visit, President Tatar paid tribute to the hard work and efforts of TRNC based forensic medical experts and their cooperation with forensic medical experts in the Republic of Türkiye, which successfully helped to identify people who had died following the catastrophic earthquakes in Türkiye.

“I thank all our forensic medical experts for their successful hard work that helped to identify those who had been lost during the catastrophic earthquakes that occurred last month in Türkiye,” the President stated.

President Tatar was also briefed about the latest work carried out by the CMP and the work of experts at the CMP laboratory.

President Tatar was accompanied by Presidential Health Advisor Prof. Dr. Nedime Serakıncı.
