President Ersin Tatar's condolence message for Nicos Rolandis, former Greek Cypriot minister
“ I am saddened to hear of the loss of Mr. Nicos Rolandis. In his 176th
article published in Cyprus Mail on 1 March 2020 he had written "This year
we're celebrating 60 years of independence, but are we really celebrating?"
The late Mr Rolandis did on many occasions state the loss of real
opportunities for the resolution of the Cyprus problem. His statements were
courageous and called for realism. My sincere condolences to his family and
loved ones. May his soul be at peace”.
