President Ersin Tatar's Easter message
Happy Easter to the Greek Cypriot people with whom we share our island as equal sides, and to the whole of the Orthodox Christian world.
With these thoughts and feelings, to all the people of different religions and sects living in the secular and democratic TRNC which is a state of law, and to all humanity, I wish that this holy day brings peace and blessings.
It is our greatest wish that Easter and Ramadan Eid, which we will be celebrating soon, will lead to an increase in tolerance between faiths and that brotherhood, peace and prosperity will prevail all over the world and our island.
