President Tatar meets Volleyball Player Merve Çelebi
President Ersin Tatar met Merve Çelebi, Turkish Cypriot member of Turkey’s national Women’s Snow Volleyball and Beach Volleyball team.
In his speech at the reception, President Tatar emphasized the importance of working, believing and representing our country in the best possible way, and expressed his pride in the successful way our country is represented abroad.
President Tatar congratulated Turkey Women's Snow Volleyball and Beach Volleyball National Team Athlete Merve Çelebi, her teammates, trainers and family and wished them continued success.
Expressing that the success of our athletes provides our youth with hopes, President Tatar added that he has a lot of admiration to the TRNC athletes who succeed in Turkish teams, and emphasised that he is proud we have talented Turkish Cypriot youth who achieve success with their own personal efforts despite the inhumane sports embargoes imposed on us.
