Statement of President Ersin Tatar on the process for a “Terror-Free Türkiye and the declaration by the terrorist organisation to dissolve itself”

President Ersin Tatar has expressed the support of the TRNC to the “process for a Terror-Free Türkiye” and welcomed the declaration by the terrorist organisation to lay down arms and dissolve itself. President Tatar, who issued a written statement on the development, said: “It is my greatest wish for the process for a Terror-Free Türkiye to pave the way to a final end to decades of terrorism, conflict, and tensions in our region, that is replaced by peace. I hope these positive steps will put an end to the pain and tears of mothers and that lives will no longer be lost.” “The stage that has been reached in the process for a Terror-Free Türkiye has been reached with the visionary leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courageous and selfless determination of the Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), Mr. Devlet Bahçeli.
