The project to neuter homeless animals, implemented under the auspices of the Presidency of the TRNC and under the leadership of President Ersin Tatar's wife Sibel Tatar, started to be implemented in Lefke region today.
Sibel Tatar, wife of President Ersin Tatar, visited the clinics where 4 dogs were neutered as part of the first sterilization operation.
During the visit, Chairman of the TRNC Presidency Science and Health Committee Prof. Dr. Füsun Yıldız and the chairmans of the associations were also present.
The practice, which started with the contributions of the Golden Paws Association, Hope 4 Pets Association and Paw Friends Committee established by the Lefke Development Association (LEKAD) to protect the stray animals of Lefke, is envisaged to continue in all districts after Lefke.
